Garden
In 2011, Zeita’s Garden was developed by one of our parents, Rachel Hurford, and a small team of willing helpers. It was transformed over a 6 month period from a muddy, cordoned-off mess into a beautiful and peaceful area that the children can relax, talk and enjoy themselves in during playtime. We have a pond, an insect hotel, park benches, a wigwam, listening posts, music areas and a vast array of herbs, flowers and trees. It is now used as a fantastic learning resource which has been used for bug hunts, circle times, practise for school plays and assemblies and as a group reading area.
The garden was named after one of our wonderful staff, Zeita, who gave over 40 years of hard work to the school.
