Reading

The children start by understanding individual words and short phrases. Teaching them to make the link between sounds and spelling will enable them to read aloud confidently and with increasingly accurate pronunciation.

As their language learning progresses, they will develop own strategies to understand new language and will be able to understand and respond to a more wide variety of phrases and short texts.
